Docket One answers the questions people actually type at midnight. How long to Mars on a chemical rocket, how much of your life goes to scrolling, how hot that pepper really is. Seven categories, a calculator in each that takes the joke seriously, and a long article underneath every one explaining the maths.
The rule the whole site runs on is that the tool and the article have to agree. Where they did not, the tool was rebuilt to match what the article already described, and the working is shown on the page rather than hidden behind a number.
Visually it is a flat, hand-drawn system: a yellow ground, heavy ink outlines, offset shadows and no gradients, with a dark theme built from the same tokens rather than inverted. It ships as a static export with no runtime, and every page is checked against automated contrast and mobile-overflow suites before it goes out.
